For four years now, I have been participating in Micaela's Christmas ornament swap. From that first Christmas, Micaela and I have been friends and have continued to send each other something pretty each year {it's just too marvellous a tradition to pass up, and it's always so much fun to pick out the perfect tree ornaments for one another}. My parcel from Micaela arrived this afternoon and I gasped when I opened it and discovered these inside...
I had "favourited" them on Etsy a while ago, and the instant I pulled back the tissue, I knew it was them. Aren't they pretty? They remind me of my Grandma & Grandpa's tree when I was a little girl. I love that I have a set for my own tree now. Thank you, thank you, thank you, sweet friend!

ReplyDeleteE, it's so special we have this tradition especially since this is how we met <3 I decided to play sneaky and order from your etsy favorites ;) i knew that you wouldn't be getting them since the seller doesn't ship to Canada so I thought it was extra perfect! I also really love that there are four vintage bells and there are four sweet Pughs ;)

I LOVE the handmade one Amanda sent (such great details) and guess what? we have matching vintage Rudolphs! Amanda sent me one to match yours. <3 The twine bird you sent Amanda was beautiful and of course, i adore you support handmade as well and sent her a fluttery red paper flower ornament as well. I feel lucky you both sent me the same ornaments you sent each other without even knowing it :) You two are my favorites, which is why i was extra excited to pair you two together this year.
