I love a long weekend that feels really long. This one definitely did. I'm feeling very grateful for that extra day off. It helped to slow down the usual hectic pace of a busy weekend, and it gave us more time together. Time for swim lessons, a birthday party, endless rounds of Monopoly, Christmas shopping, house-cleaning, reading reading reading, and even a little bit of holiday decorating. There was a simple little Remembrance Day ceremony with the Beavers, more than one cup of hot chocolate, and several evenings in a row where we got to sit down together and have fun. Oh, and I even got some report cards written. So that's good, too.
How was your weekend?
Note to self: come back to this spot when wreath-making in a few weeks...

It's getting festive at Starbucks
Writing report cards {there's a lot more of this in my near future}
Happy Tuesday, friends. Can you believe we're almost half-way through November?
Oh how I wish there were some kind of way we hop over to each other to spend time together at the weekends. I would ask kindly for some holly with berries on as ours never has any - something to do with male and female plants I think?! I would love to shop with you and your boys and do the same here in our little shops too.
