This week was better than the last one. There was less drama {not a lot less, but a bit} and I feel like things are moving in the right direction. I'm not so worried anymore. And that is such a relief.
I'm looking forward to accomplishing some stuff this weekend {like grocery shopping, meal-planning and report card writing}, and to spending some quality time having fun with my family. We might be attending an event known as "Wafflerama" at a friend's house. Doesn't that sound fantastic?
Before the weekend rolls around though, how about a few happy things with which to end the week, and to start the month of June off right? Okay, here goes:
^ The beach makes me happy. I love the smell of salt and driftwood in the air. I think we'll try to spend a bit of time there this weekend. Maybe we'll build a sandcastle.
^ My new $5 shoes make me happy. How cute are they?
^ My Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons bulletin board makes me happy. Didn't these turn out well?
^ I especially like this one!
^ It's June 1st! One month exactly until Canada Day {love this festive party ware at Superstore} and the official start to summer. That makes me oh-so-happy, too!
Have a lovely weekend, friends. I can't wait to hear how you spent it in your part of the world. Meet you back here Monday?

Hey, Erin! Your blog always puts me in good spirits. The beach is my favorite place. The breeze, the smell of salt water and the sound of the waves make me relax immediately. I'm glad your week went better. The Pete, the Cat, pictures are insanely cute! Have a wonderful week ahead of you. (I have lots of baking to do. It's my oldest son's birthday tomorrow - I can't believe he is 11 - and my birthday on Tuesday! :)
