It's Monday, and despite the fact that my incisions are itching like hell {I know it's a sign that they're healing, but it is seriously driving me crazy!}, I'm finding plenty of things to love today. What sort of things, you ask? Well:
- I woke up to the sound of birds singing outside my bedroom window
- Various people are very kindly driving the boys to and from kindergarten and preschool this week, which means I don't have to drag kids all over town, but instead can rest on the couch
- A change of scenery! I've bid farewell to the bedroom and have now set myself up downstairs in the living room with books, blankets, magazines, laptop, tea and Tylenol...
- I'm going to start reading The House at Riverton today - I forgot it at school last week, but my lovely friend Maria is going to pick it up for me when she picks up Dylan. If it's even half as good as The Forgotten Garden, I'll be happy.
- I ordered something fabulous from Etsy last night {thanks to my generous mother-in-law} and I can't wait for it to arrive!
- Sweet Cass sent me a gorgeous mini-diary from Marta Writes for my birthday and I'm going to start writing in it today~ I love the thrill of starting a fresh journal, and this one is especially awesome!
- I've joined Gracie's postcard swap... I always look forward to sending and receiving mail, and this time I'll be sending to Australia and Poland {haven't sent mail to Poland since Em lived there, over ten years ago}! Fun.
- The tulips are opening up in the garden, and the anemones. I can see them from where I'm sitting.

ReplyDeleteI love what you're loving this Monday! :D
Bird chirping weather is lovely!
I am not sure what I am loving because it's super chilly here.
I guess I love blankets, and love, and jackets!
