My birthday was a week ago today. It was lovely. Definitely the best day of the past seven!
There were cards and presents and flowers.
Early morning unwrapping with my favourite little helpers.
Birthday kisses. Blurry but happy.
I had to go to work, but at work there were lattes. And more flowers!
In the evening we went to my parents' house, for more celebrating. You'd never know from this photo, but Sawyer was super-excited about the whole thing. So was I! Can you tell?
Birthday balloons are a must.
My mom wrapped my presents up beautifully, didn't she?
We had a delicious dinner, followed by a spectacular strawberry shortcake.
With candles on it that would simply not blow out! I kept blowing {and making wishes}, and they kept re-lighting themselves!
Turns out they were from the Trick and Joke shop. Ha ha, Alan. Very funny! The boys were beside themselves with the hilarity of it all.
You see?
I got some pretty fabulous presents and parcels on my big day. But I'll save them for another post. After all, I need something to do this week!
