This Wednesday, I'm wishing...
- that mornings around here didn't have to be such hard work
- that I had a magic wand like Hermione's, so I could simply "swish and flick" our living and dining room reno done! {and if I could shout "incendio!" and a lovely warm fire would start up in the woodstove, that would be really great too}
- for a happy ending to The Hunger Games Trilogy {I'm about 100 pages from the end and I'm getting worried...}
- for good weather for our girly trip this weekend {I do not want to drive over the mountain in a blizzard, thank you very much!}
- for a peppermint mocha to warm me up and give me the caffeine buzz I need to get a move on with this day!
What are you wishing for?

I would LOVE a magic wand -- so many things would be much easier. And I wouldn't mind a timeturner either, especially with so many final papers to write!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday, Erin!
Mmm... A Peppermint Mocha sounds delish right now. Also, I wouldn't begrudge having a magic wand either *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good Wednesday! :)
ooh, I want a magic wand too! haha. you know, when I was younger, I used to always wish I was a witch like Sabrina the Teenage Witch or like Samantha on Bewitched... then I could just point my finger or wiggle my noise and make things happen-- instantly! oh, how I wish.
ReplyDeletewhat I wish right this second though is that I would feel more AWAKE (my coffee didn't do it!) so I could be motivated to get some work done before Thanksgiving break! I am seriously feeling lazy right now...
I would use my magic wand to conjure up an extra-hot chai tea latte, to make my bruised knee & sore throat disappear and to fast-forward to the second week of December (that way I wouldn't have to suffer through another week and a half of my current infuriatingly annoying group of students!)
ReplyDeleteA girl can dream, can't she?
XOXO
Oh my goodness please email me when you finish Hunger Games, we need to debrief!
ReplyDeleteOh man, if only I could wave a wand (or squiggle my nose like Samantha!) and my house would be clean before guests arrive tomorrow! I am too busy cooking for Thanksgiving festivities to even think about cleaning--ay yay yay. As for Hunger Games, I've only read the first one (which I loved)--I'm also hoping for a happy ending (as I always am). Happy Thanksgiving, Erin!
ReplyDeleteJust a little of Hermione's magic for one day would be wonderful, wouldn't it!

Hunger Games Trilogy! Nice. I'm trying to spread the word about the series because I thought it was good. I won't spoil the ending but let us know when you do complete it!
