It snowed on Friday night, took a break for a while yesterday and then started up again this morning. It's a winter wonderland out there! So much so that they closed the schools this afternoon and advised people to stay off the roads (which had more or less turned into skating rinks). That sounded good to me.
So we played outside with Cousin Isabel until our cheeks and noses were frozen. We threw snowballs at each other. And then we headed inside for hot chocolate.
What's the weather like in your part of the world?
today it was in the 60's here. tomorrow it'll be in the 30's. i'm not ready for snow, but your pictures are pretty!! and i'm always ready for hot chocolate... : )
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I can't believe you've already gotten snow! That's crazy. I'm ready for the cold, but I don't think I'm entirely ready for the snow...
ReplyDeleteI hope your boys are enjoying it! :)
Oh my goodness I cannot believe that it is already snowing wow! Enjoy your wonderland.
ReplyDeleteAre those Christmas lights I spy Mrs Pugh?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could pop over to join in the fun!
xx
That looks sooo pretty, but BRRRRR! A bit too cold for me. We are supposed to be getting some snow this week but I doubt it will compare with yours. Off now to stock up with chocolate, just in case!
ReplyDeletesnowday!!! how perfect!
ReplyDeleteSnow, already? Wow. I guess that's a perk of living in Canada. Yesterday it was in the low 60s and sunny here in San Diego. Today we might have a spot of rain. All it ever does here is rain; it never snows.
ReplyDeleteLook at all that snow! Here in Massachusetts, our weather can't seem to make up it's mind- it's supposed to be in the 60s (Fahrenheit, but still!) today, and yesterday it was FREEZING.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow day!
wow!!!! can i come visit?! :) i would absolutely love this. i was born in wisconsin, and all my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all there still. oh i miss those winter wonderland holidays i spent back home! my cousin is getting married in utah the day after new year's, so hopefully we can go and have some fun in the snow. enjoy it a little extra for me, will you?
ReplyDeleteSnow? Oh, I'm so jealous! I'm not a big fun of snow in the city but where I am now is the perfect place. The people here have been telling me that January and February are the coldest months.
ReplyDeleteHave fun! e-mail to follow one of these days.
xo
look at all that white glory. All we get is rain rain rain.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Victoria is the new Siberia! Who knew?
ReplyDeleteAnnecy is a lot more drizzly & grey than Gap ever was. I do miss the blue skies & sunshine. But at least the rain is a good excuse to drink hot chocolate & cozy up with my laptop (hee hee)!
I am really looking forward to the first snowfall here. It's going to be gorgeous!
