Breakfast in bed, maybe in a cozy boutique hotel somewhere, followed by a day of Christmas shopping and tea-drinking... all sound completely divine.
And nothing like the actual day ahead, which involves a trip or two to the DIY store, covering all the furniture with plastic, and taking a crowbar to the living room wall!
Good thing I've got a decent imagination, and a tumblr full of beautiful photos {many of dreamy living rooms} to keep me going...
Happy Saturday, my dears.
PS: You're almost out of time to join in Micaela's ornament swap! Go visit her today and sign up. You will be so glad you did!
The breakfast in bed does sound heavenly but channel your inner Kirstie Allsopp and attack that wall Erin!! Hee hee

Umm! Your day sounds a bit more hectic than mine, but even mine was a million miles away from breakfast in bed! But we can dream!
ReplyDeleteBreakfast in bed would be divine! Honestly, I don't even need to be in bed -- I just want a nice indulgent breakfast. Odd I don't eat it more often when it is my favorite meal... I usually only do cereal in the mornings.
ReplyDeleteSoon you will be able to lounge around in your cool & new modern living room. It'll all be worth it!
ReplyDeleteOh my, lady. I hope you report today that the project is complete...and that you at least managed to sneak in a cup of tea this weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE some breakfast in bed!
ReplyDeleteHa, we can all dream! Hope it wasn't too frantic a weekend...
ReplyDeletea crowbar? what an exciting day you must have had! i hope you get your breakfast in bed soon. :)
ReplyDeleteHope the wall/crow-bar union went well! I know your pain Erin, I really do, but just think it will be worth it in the end!!
