Happy Friday, friends! It's been another busy week and the weekend is shaping up to be even busier. Alan and my dad went to RONA last night to load up on enormous sheets of drywall, giant bags of insulation, rolls of vapour barrier and many, many drywall screws. My 1970s wood-panelled living room will soon be no more! Can't tell you how much I am dreading the mess, but loving the idea of a bigger, brighter, more beautiful space in which to spend my time and celebrate the holidays {7 weeks from now, it will be Christmas Eve! Christmas Eve! can you believe it?}
Wish I had more time to write, but I'm teaching grade one today and that takes up prety much every second I've got! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Any fun plans? I'd love to hear about them...

I can't wait to see pictures of this exciting renovation!
ReplyDeleteHope your day isn't too crazy and you get a second to pause with a cup of tea.

Erin - I don't think you follow Deviled Megs so I had to share this link for you - http://www.deviledmegs.com/2010/11/wheres-deviled-megs.html scroll down and take a look at her "keep calm" picture she keeps on her desk and you'll see why I HAD to share :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to renovate, but I can for sure understand you are dreading the mess, but it has to be bad before it turns good!
ReplyDeleteI saw some ornaments at the store today and immidiately thought of you, so if I get you as my swap partner I will know what to get:)
Have a nice weekend!
Good luck working on the living room! My parents did away with the wood paneling in their living room a year or so ago and it's been such a huge difference. Have a fantastic weekend, Erin! I'll be doing some work, cooking, and relaxing.
