Happy Thanksgiving

We're off to my mom & dad's house this afternoon for our traditional outdoor Thanksgiving dinner extravaganza. Despite feeling like crap yesterday {I still don't have a voice}, I managed to bake a beautiful pumpkin pie and some turkey-shaped cookies to bring along. It's been raining for 3 days, but a few hours ago the sun came out and it looks like it will be a perfect afternoon to spend outside with family and friends. Even with this horrible laryngitis, I intend to have an excellent time. Better brush up on my sign language though, or bring a notepad! Because no one is going to be able to hear a word I've got to say...
