Week one was busy. We barely stopped.
There were a lot of great things about our first week in London, and one of those things was the boys' first visit to Trafalgar Square. There is just something so wonderful about that place. It is busy and bustling and noisy and beautiful, and everywhere you look there is something else to see. I love the view towards Big Ben.
Alan and the boys climbed up by the lions and I took a dozen photos of them. Remember
this post? Across the square is the amazing National Gallery. Here we are in front of the gallery, with the square (and Nelson's Column) behind us.
Dylan loved Trafalgar Square. The fountains filled him with joy!
He did a happy dance.
And I have to say,
that filled
me with joy.
I love Trafalgar Square. But even more, I love how much
he loves it. I mean, look at that face!
Next up: parks and pubs and the pouring rain...
