Yesterday, June 12th, was just the greatest day. We had a fabulous time, basking in the sun, at the beach and in the garden and at a barbeque at my brother's place. The boys and I headed down to the lagoon at 8 o'clock in the morning to meet up with my aunt and uncle, soon to be followed by my sister, brother and their families. It was a huge celebration, with massive crowds, coming to see the Navy Fleet Review and the snowbirds' airshow. The show was spectacular, the food was delicious, the company was great fun, the waves were lovely and we had such a marvellous time. For the first time, it really felt like summer. Ooh, I hope it lasts!
Anyway, here are 12 fab photos from the 12th (in a fancy Picasa collage which I am just now learning how to create). Click on the collage to see the photos in larger format. Super photos. You sure look as though you had a great day. The sun was shining here earlier but has been pouring with rain since about 7pm. Don't think our summer quite matches yours

ReplyDeleteI love the "12 on the 12th" idea, esp when you use the collage tech...as you have seen in my blogs I use it often to capture many pictures in one posting....not that I have been good about posting as of late.
My favorites have to be Alan and Dylan in the hammock, and the garden chair--I can hear it whispering my name as I admire it.
