Tea party dreams
I know I've been going on quite a bit lately about my love of tea and cupcakes and Valentine's Day tea parties, but seriously... Can you blame me? Does it get much prettier than this? I don't think so!
The boys and I have valentine cards to finish after school today (the preschool party is tomorrow! yikes! it seems I underestimated the time it takes to make and label 17 heart shaped cards) and our valentine tree to assemble. They are so excited. We'll be baking our cupcakes tomorrow, I think. We want them to last until the 14th, after all! Can't wait to decorate them with cinnamon hearts and red & pink smarties. I know our table won't look as pretty as this one on Sunday, but there will be lots of excitement and sweets and flushed pink cheeks on two happy little boys. And I'm good with that.

ReplyDeletethat table is gorgeous! love the little heart cut-outs! but even if your table isn't as cute, I think the Valentine's plans you have with your boys sound perfect. and I second kimbirdy-- your boys are lucky to have you!

ReplyDeleteCan I just say that we might be kindred spirits? Your Valentine's Day card was the first one I got and decided it wouldn't hurt to just open just ONE, and not only was the card wonderful, but YOU SENT ME TEA!! I love tea! I've read a few of your posts and I think you're great. Cute boys!
