Hula hoops, cupid, teacups, Alexander

My Monday afternoon, half-way through February, 3BT:

1. I love the Olympic rings that the students have constructed from hula-hoops and hung in the front hallway of our school.

2. My secret Cupid gave me tea, biscotti and chocolates at our luncheon today. I sense some "me" time coming on one evening soon!

3. We have an assessment workshop in the library after school today. The vice principal just brought in a selection of pretty teacups, and a tray full of scones, cream and jam. How lovely is that? This is one meeting I'm happy to stick around for!

And one more, for good measure:
4. For Grade 1 story time today, I read Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. It is one of my favourite picture books ever. The bit about the kissing on tv makes me laugh every time. And the drawing of the invisible castle? Love. It.
