Bonjour de Pommiers!

Just a quick note to let you all know that I arrived safe and sound last night. I am in France!!! And I am so happy to see Emily. We have been swimming in the pool, have eaten crepes, drunk wine, cried a bit (quelle surprise!), eaten croissants, and I've even been speaking a fair amount en francais! So far I'm doing pretty well with understanding what the Frenchies are saying... which is amazing considering how little sleep I've had in the past couple of days! The village is beautiful, as is the surrounding countryside. I can hardly believe that I'm here. This morning I woke up to the sound of bells ringing and birds singing. I was out on my little balcony straight away to take photos! (I have taken loads, will take a million more, and will post them all once I'm home again). Up next: decorating for tomorrow's wedding reception, then painting our nails and hanging out by the pool. La vie est belle!
