There's a new {and fabulous} park in our neighbourhood, so we spent a good part of Friday evening there. The weather was breezy and cool {so what else is new?}, but that didn't stop my two from having a marvellous time. Saturday we did housework {Alan gardened continuously the entire time!} and grocery shopping, went for a bike ride, made pizza, and had a relaxing evening in. Alan and I watched Episodes. Have you seen it? Matt Leblanc is so funny in it, and I'm always excited to see John Pankow, who we spotted on the street just up from our hotel in NYC back in March! Sunday was Father's Day of course. The boys were excited to give Alan the presents they'd got {and made} for him, and to take him to see the new "superhero" park. Then we went to my mom & dad's for a delicious barbeque with all the relatives. All in all, it was a pretty great weekend. How was yours?

Happy Monday! Here's hoping it's sunny and warm and that the week ahead is a good one.
I think I need to go to the park and do some climbing! And I love the chocolate survival kit -- very cute. I'll also need to check out Episodes. Have you heard of or seen Burning Love yet? It's a parody of the Bachelor on Yahoo. Watch it. It's hysterical. But make sure children are around.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the boys had a lot of fun at the park :)
