My mom bought me a pair of TOMS for my birthday, and this weekend I finally got to wear them {was waiting for dry, sunny weather!} I saw them all over the place in NYC and admired every single pair, but I was trying to keep my spending to a minimum, so I didn't buy any. Thank goodness my sister was paying attention to my new obsession, and reminded Mom that I wanted some when my birthday rolled around. Because I have to say, I love them. They're so comfy, and so very cool. Since putting them on this Saturday, I've had so many compliments. And even better? The One-for-One program... a child in need got a new pair of shoes, too, just because my mom bought a pair for me. You can't beat that.

Toms are the best! They're surprisingly comfortable for being so simple and flat. I love them! I just ordered a black pair this week :)

ReplyDeleteYes, I LOVE the way the cherry blossoms swirl around. I am SO sad to report that the one's in Central Park are almost gone :( This morning as I jogged around they were almost entirely bare and not pink anymore! So sad :(

It's been pouring rain here all day, Em. After the past few days of sunshine and high temps, it's a bit of a letdown. Thank goodness for the vase of tulips on my kitchen table! Glad you've got some, too.

These are very common at my university. I didn't like the pricetag, but mine are certainly comfy enough to wear all day while I stand up teaching. Definitely a good buy! Glad you found a pair of shoes you like!
