Much Love Monday

Would you believe I didn't take a single photo all weekend? I know. Crazy. But it's true. It's too bad, because those would have been some good photos {lattés, leaves, playing at the park}. Anyway, instead of my usual Scenes from the Weekend post, how about a Much Love Monday?

Things I'm loving at the moment:

  • Our flights to New York are booked! My mom, sister and I are planning a fabulous 5-day trip to the Big Apple in March, and I'm excited already. We're going to stay on the Upper West Side {I am so visiting every spot from You've Got Mail!}, see a Broadway show or two {why limit ourselves, right?}, have a picnic in Central Park {bagels, anyone?}, put on our sunglasses and take photos outside of Tiffany's {à la Audrey Hepburn} and basically have the most fun ever. I can't wait!
  • The leaves on our cherry tree are the most vibrant red. I'm a big fan of autumn leaves, have I mentioned?
  • Our house is all decked out for Halloween. Photos to follow.
  • I'm making Mexican Black Bean soup for supper tonight. It's going to be deeelish.
  • Sawyer has a little friend coming over this afternoon. They're going to have a tea party on the floor in the playhouse. We're baking cookies for the occasion.
  • Alan brought me a cup of tea this morning, at exactly the moment when I needed it. He's good like that.
And now I'm off to catch up on some laundry and other housework before we whip up that cookie dough. Hope you're finding lots of things to love this Monday, too.
