Happy things

Wow, is it Friday again already? This week flew by! I've been out at some meeting or another for three nights in a row and I'm really looking forward to spending an evening at home tonight. I've got lots on the agenda for the weekend {the organization project for the playroom and boys' room continues, as does getting the living room ready for finishing last year's epic reno!}, so tonight we'll take it easy and maybe order in some dinner. I'm thinking Noodle Box...

Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. First, some happy things with which to end the week:

 Thursday evening~ had just enough time for a cup of vanilla tea downtown at Murchies.

 And then spent several hours at this bookstore... {I heart Teachers' Night at Munro's!}

 I love loading up on boxes of lovely children's books for my library. So many fabulous new titles out right now {stay tuned for some children's book reviews over the coming weeks}

Cassie's having her baby soon!

Knowing my childhood love for it, Alan got me the pilot episode of Little House on the Prairie {isn't he lovely?} and I watched it late last night. It brought back so many memories of being a little girl and imagining I was Laura Ingalls... {Dylan and I are reading Little House in the Big Woods at the moment, too! It's like I'm 8 years old all over again!}

And oh yeah... I can't even believe it myself, but it looks like I might be going to New York City for spring break!!!!!  Quick, somebody pinch me!

What happy things are you ending your week with? I want to hear them all!

Have a fabulous Friday, my lovelies.

  2. what a lovely week! wow, it's been so long since i've seen a "little house on the prairie" episode. blast from the past! :) i just started watching "life unexpected" on netflix instant watch. it's SO good! i think you would really like it too actually {if you haven't seen it already}. it's sort of in the genre of "parenthood" and "men in trees" {by that i mean it's a drama, but a sweet one}.
