Flowers for your Friday

Happy Friday, friends! As you read this, I'm probably sound asleep, getting over the side-effects of general anesthetic and having surgery. But it wouldn't feel like a Friday if I didn't offer you some flowers, would it? I love this photo of the flowers in the tin, on the stack of books. It's very me.

I also want to thank you all for being so wonderful this week, with all the birthday and get well wishes! I hope to be feeling better with each passing day, and plan to get online fairly often to say hello {once I'm out of the drug-induced haze!} In the meantime, I hope you'll leave me lots of comments to let me know what's happening in your part of the world. Have a fabulous weekend, won't you?

  1. I think you should set up a similar stack of books & some fresh flowers in your bedroom. Then you'll be all set to nap, read, rest & nap some more!

    Thinking of you. XOXO!

  7. Your "Flowers for you Friday" blog posts inspire me! Earlier at Safeway I complimented an old man ahead of me for buying a beautiful bouquet of carnations ("for my lady friend," he said shyly, then told me his wife passed away a year ago and she used to love flowers). I left the line to buy some daffodils, and the lady behind me did, too! We called the store manager and told him this fellow was responsible for the whole line of ladies buying flowers today. :) Anyway, I thought of you, Erin, and couldn't wait to share this little springtime snippet.
