It's Monday again and I feel like hell! I'm not sure if it's just that I'm not adjusting very well to daylight savings time and had the most horrible sleep, or if I'm coming down with something. But I feel achy and tired, and my head is pounding. Every time I cough it hurts a little bit more, so I'm trying hard not to cough. Ugh. Anyway, there are far more things to be happy about than unhappy {this too shall pass, right?}, so... on with the Much Love Monday!
This Monday I'm loving:
- watching Sawyer and his cousin put together puzzles all on their own {they are so proud of themselves!}
- catching up on season 1 of Parenthood... I love it!
- the daffodils that are popping up all over our garden
- hot tea with honey {from France}
- that extra hour of daylight in the evening, even if it's messed me up for the moment
- making plans to meet a blogging friend this summer
- that there's just one more week of school until spring break!
- all the photos from Dylan's 6th birthday last week
Here are a few:
Early in the morning, opening presents in his birthday crown! Each one was hidden somewhere in the house and he had to read and follow a little rhyming poem clue to find it. So. Much. Fun.
Birthday breakfast with a 6-shaped sparkler
Chatting to auntie Wendy while finishing up decorating the cake
Birthday boy goes 3D
My masterpiece
A cuddle with Mum at the end of an exciting day
I took a few ibuprofen tablets before I started writing this, and I'm pleased to report that they're doing the trick. I think I'm starting to feel better. I definitely love that!
What are you loving this Monday?
Erin xo
