In case you hadn't noticed, we love an excuse to celebrate in the Pugh household! Today was our favourite Irish holiday {have I ever told you how Alan and I began our romance in Ireland?}, and we were happy to wake up this morning and see that the leprechauns hadn't forgotten us...
Mmm! Chocolates!

Apart from Sawyer running {yet another} temperature at daycare and me having a coughing fit at work, it wasn't such a bad day. I left work early to pick him up, and it ended up being the best thing for both of us. I napped for 2 hours and he napped for 3! After that we were feeling a little bit better so I decided to take the boys for a bike ride. Because fresh air always feels good, doesn't it?
We rode down to the lake and played on the rocks for a while.
Dylan did several laps of the lake {it's a little one, with a fountain in the middle}
Sawyer climbed some fences
And leaped off some big boulders.
They both looked pretty cute, all decked out in green, don't you think? Here's hoping I exhausted them and tonight, despite runny noses and sore throats, they'll both sleep straight on through until the morning.
Once everyone is in bed, I'm thinking a nice cold Bailey's is in order for this worn out Mum. It's either that or Neo-Citran. Anyway...
Happy St Patrick's Day!
That's so cute! I remember when I was little, my mom used to hide green items in odd places throughout the house and we'd think the leprechauns had done it :)
