Flowers for your Friday

Friday again, huh? I'm not sure I like how fast the weeks are flying by! I've been on summer vacation for 2 1/2 weeks already. And the more time that's passed, the less time that's left. We'll have to be sure to make the very most of it, won't we?

This weekend will be a busy one, with the summer festival tomorrow and a family get-together on Sunday. We'll be pancake-breakfasting, parading down the main street, swimming, BBQing and more. I'm going out to dinner and a movie with a friend on Saturday night, in honour of her birthday, and I've got the last two episodes of Glee to watch as well. It's going to be a busy one!

I'd better get the housework done now then, so I can enjoy the weekend of fun that lies ahead. There's laundry to bring in off the line (mmm, I love the smell of clean clothes dried by the sun and the breeze!), kitchen counters to wipe down, and a dishwasher to run. And I need to water the garden too. Anyway, I'm off! Hope your weekend is fantastic! Doing anything exciting? Will you be riding your bike and waving at the crowds like we will, I wonder? Because that would be quite the coincidence!

Ciao for now,
Erin xo

PS: I picked these cosmos for my Friday flowers photo, because they look a lot like the daisies that are blooming all through our garden at the moment. Only we don't have a white picket fence...

  4. Oh I wish I could join you for the parade today, especially as that pancake breakfast sounds good right now!

Hope it is a fabulous weekend, enjoyed by all.

PS: Love the Cosmos - I am debating where to put some in my garden for next year.
