via inside my fort
I'm at the end of my last full week of the school year, with just two days left of work before summer vacation begins. I have sent out all the overdue notices, collected all the books from the stragglers, straightened and tidied the shelves, and recycled about a million bits of paper. It's stuffy in the library, and all over the school really. The lights are out to try to cool the place down, but it's not working. It's just making it hard to concentrate! The kids have that sleepy, summery look about them. They're done. They want to be outside on the grass, lounging under the trees, with cold drinks and ice creams and not a care in the world. I don't blame them. So do I.
Now, I'm not sure why, but at the moment I seem to be in a bit of a blogging slump. I've got nothing much to say (and that is so not like me). Any ideas what I should write about next? You think on it and get back to me, okay? In the meantime, I'm going for an ice cream cone.
