Wednesday, on the fly

Good morning. Just getting ready to head out the door to Dylan's preschool. It's my "Mummy Helper Day" so we've got to drop Sawyer off with his aunt and uncle, make a quick run through the Starbucks drive-thru (must. have. latte.) and then get to the school to help with set-up. I'll spend the morning helping out with the organized chaos that is co-op preschool (with 17 noisy 4-year-olds). This afternoon I've promised Alan I'll stack wood in the woodshed (good times) and I've told the boys we'll bake something and/or do some artwork. Add to that the growing stack of laundry that needs to be washed, a run to the post office, and some Science marking I've brought home, and I've got one busy day "off" ahead. Not complainin', just sayin'.

What about you? What are you doing today? Want to chat LOST? It was pretty epic last night... (my eyes still hurt from all the crying)

  1. i love the to do list - that designer has some really clever ones. but what is that adorable background with the cars? love it!

and i haven't seen lost yet, but i've heard so many people say they cried their eyes out, so i'm assuming one of the main characters we know and love (and never thought would die) dies. i'll get to watch it in a few hours.

  2. Hope the wood stacking provides some calm peace after a hectic noisy morning!

Try your used tea-bags to sooth your eyes dear.

i've said it before and i'm sure i'll say it again- you are super mom and wife! ;)

today i worked a weird mid afternoon shift but we had a customer appreciation cook-out in which they ACTUALLY HAD BOCA BURGERS! i couldn't believe it! i was sooo excited cos they never have veggie burgers at cookouts. Before work i actually jogged with max and our dogs-- it was a great way to start the day (though my thighs are on fire still ha)

  6. I love that photo of the never ending to do list. That's precisely how I feel sometimes. I'm sorry I've been so behind reading and commenting this past week -- things were really hectic and a bit emotional and I had some things I needed to deal with. Missed you lots.
