I spotted these beautiful lilacs on my friend Cassie's blog today (go visit, it's such a pretty site, and a lovely glimpse into life in the English countryside!)Aren't they gorgeous? I can just imagine the smell of all those little flowers, can't you? Our lilac trees are starting to bloom now, a sure sign that spring is definitely here, and summer must be on its way. If that happy thought doesn't make me smile, I don't know what will!

I can almost smell them. I'm definitely heading back to Trader Joe's this weekend buying myself another bunch of them.

We have three lilac bushes out back that haven't bloomed yet... I'm dying for them to burst open and fill our yard with that wonderful scent! Can't wait!
