Midweek more-than-3BT

In an attempt to shake off my worries and let go of my anxiety about a number of different things, here is my sunny Wednesday afternoon, more-than-3BT:

1. A long chat with Em on the phone while the boys slept. Seems I have a letter to look forward to...

2. The smell of chocolate chip banana bread wafting in from the kitchen.

3. The boys are doing some playdough "baking" at the table. "Mum! We are making cupcake mush curry!" Dylan tells me. "Doesn't that sound good?"

4. The weather here was been amazing today. Warm, sunny, and at 5:20 p.m., it's still really light outside. It puts a spring in my step.

5. I get to go book-buying tomorrow. I can't wait to return to my library, arms laden down with bags full of the best books! What a great job I have. {The photo above of The Secret Garden, and the key that Mary found, makes me want to go back and re-read that old childhood favourite. Thanks for posting it, Cassie!}

6. Kelly's coming down in 2 weeks. I sense a tea party coming on!

7. I am just about on spring break. It will be so nice to have 10 days off to relax and not have to rush out the door in the morning. Oh, and my sister and I might go for afternoon tea. How delightful will that be?

Okay, I feel better. Now... tell me about your Wednesday, won't you please? I've missed you.

love E xo

    I'm sorry I don't have much interesting to tell you about my Wednesday. I'm just working on finishing up this quarter of classes.

  2. Ok I have to comment on some your BT's:
    I absolutely love chocolate chip banana bread - oh I haven't made it in ages - shame it cannot be sent through the post!

    Playdough is just the best isn't it - I loved making it with the children - coffee or glitter were my absolute faves.

    Snap on the brilliant weather - March so far has brought us glorious sunshine.

    I thought you might spot that Secret Garden picture when I posted it - pleased you liked it!

    Oh and yeah for Spring Break!
    xx
