A fond farewell

We are very sad to have to say good-bye today to Alan's Grandad Vic, who passed away in England this afternoon. He was a real spitfire, flying back and forth to Canada to visit all his grandchildren, and to meet every one of his great-grandchildren. Here are three generations of Pugh men all together, when Sawyer was just a few weeks old, in the summer of 2007. We feel very lucky to have seen him so often over the past few years, and so sad that we won't get to see him again. He was a lovely old man, and at 91 years old, he'd lived a good long life. Still, it's hard to say good-bye. He will be missed.

  3. So sorry for the loss for your family. It's pretty neat though that you got to get a generation picture. I was able to get a 4 generation picture when my son was a baby and my great grandmother was still living, it's precious to have that memory.
