1. My darling friend Kelly, who used to live just 4 doors down and now lives hundreds and hundreds of miles away, called tonight. She is in town and coming for tea tomorrow morning! I can't wait to see her. To sit at the kitchen table, drink tea, eat cookies and chat away... I've missed it.
2. Katie is coming over tonight for a girls' movie night. We're going to watch Love Actually. Such a great movie. I love all the different story lines, the music (especially the hilarious "Christmas is all around"), the wonderful acting of Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Bill Nighy... I could go on and on. Have you seen it? You really should!
3. Santa Claus is coming to town! We're off to the parade tomorrow night and the boys are soooo excited. I've promised them hot chocolate and whipped cream and lots of Christmas lights. Dylan has been counting down to this for weeks. It's a family tradition, and the beginning of all the holiday fun. We're all looking forward to it.
