Scenes from our weekend (part one)

So far this weekend we have:

baked cookies

eaten cookies (and quite a bit of cookie dough, as you can see!)

walked to the lake

admired the view

strolled along the water's edge

done some pretend fishing

worked in the garden

gotten really dirty

hiked along the old, abandoned railway tracks

(carrying our favourite toy engines, of course)...

We've also brought in the laundry, picked up some groceries, made a trip to Canadian Tire for grass-seed and some nice fall plants, swept the kitchen floor about a thousand times, and read some great new books.

And that's just Saturday! Wait till you see what we've got up our sleeves for tomorrow,
