1. A hot cup of tea in my new "cheeky monkey" birthday mug.
2. The smell of vanilla and cinnamon french toast wafting through from the kitchen.
3. New notepaper on which to write a letter to Emily. I think I'll do that while I drink my tea. The housework can wait just a little bit longer.
