I've always been a reader, ever since I was a little girl. I remember well the thrill of holding a brand new book in my hands, gripping it to my chest and marvelling at the possibilities of what magic its pages might hold.

Some things never change. I picked these up at the library today, and I'm in bed with them nice and early, trying to decide which to read first. A brand-new, juicy Jane Greene, or the marvellously strange new novel from Kate Atkinson (whose first book, Behind the Scenes at the Museum, I completely adored).
