If I were going to the Oscars...

I would wear this vintage Dior gown.

With these shoes.

Wouldn't I look fabulous?

As it turns out, I'm not going to the Oscars {I know. So disappointing}. Instead I'm going to head over to my mom's with my sister and a friend for our own little viewing party. Less of a formal occasion, that, though I expect it will be quite a lot of fun {and I hear the snacks are going to be good, too!} Anyway, I'm going to wear yoga pants and a hoodie instead of my Dior gown and Jimmy Choo heels. Maybe next year...

Will you be watching the Academy Awards tonight?

    1. I know, Anna. I dream of wearing something as stunning as that...

I think I've only seen ONE of the nominated films this year {The Help}, so mostly I'm watching for the dresses!

    1. Thanks, Connie. It was super fun. My favourite parts were Meryl Streep's speech, the dreamy Colin Firth, and Billy Crystal's opening routine. I was also really happy that Octavia Spencer won for Best Supporting Actress. I adored The Help.

Best dress goes to Penelope Cruz in my opinion. Though I think the one I chose is even prettier!

  8. I didn't watch this year, but I LOVE the gown you picked out! I'm only ever really interested in the dresses anyway . . . I'm not so much a movie person. Hope you had fun at your party, though!

  9. You would be stunning in that dress. I have it bookmarked somewhere -- it's one of my favorites. Ever. But I'd give it to you for the Oscars, definitely.
