Flowers for your Friday

Hurrah! It's Friday again! Bring on the weekend! Not much happening around here today. I plan to stay outside in the sun and enjoy the summery weather pretty much all day long (slathered in sunscreen, of course), taking some walks, watering the garden, playing frisbee with the boys, and maybe heading for the beach. While Dylan's at preschool this morning, Sawyer and I have some groceries and birthday presents to buy, and a few cards to post off, but I think we'll walk to the shops and back so we can enjoy the sun's rays and the cool morning air. While the boys nap this afternoon, I hope to have a quick phone date with a faraway friend, and then I'm going to lay down myself. I saw the doctor yesterday and he says I am suffering from "exhaustion" (doesn't that sound all Hollywood? I'm having visions of Lindsay Lohan here!) and need to rest, rest, rest. And up my intake of vitamin D. Maybe I'll nap on the lawn?

What have you got planned for today? Will you be filling in the blanks? I'll pop back later and do just that. But for now, I'm off outside. Happy Friday, friends!

  2. A day spent outside sounds like a perfect day!

Much resting up sounds like it is definitely in order too - doctors orders after all.

    Take care of yourself.

  3. Exhaustion does DEFINITELY sound like a LL situation, but I can assure you that I'm sure you deserve more relaxation than she does! :)

Lots of hopes and wishes for a restful weekend. Hope that little nap does oodles of good for you, Erin! :)
