It's Friday night and I'm getting dressed up to head out on the town with some girlfriends (my tummy is still a bit queasy, but I'm going to ignore it and go have fun...) Before I go though, I just have to share with you~ this afternoon I had a fun phone call from my darling Em, and three perfect little parcels arrived in my mailbox! One was from Cassie, two were from Kelly and all of them were fantastic. I was so excited! They filled me with such joy! Chocolates and books and stationery and so much thoughtfulness in those three small packages (photos tomorrow, when I'm not dashing out the door!) I really do have the most marvellous friends. Thank you, girls. I am so blessed.
Happy Weekend!

Hope you feel better soon. Have a great night.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely :) There is barely anything more beautiful than packages in the mail! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you, and your whole household, starts feeling better soon :)
Happy weekend!
P.S. Thank you endlessly for your comments on my recent romantic upheaval. Why is it that men can so quickly and effortlessly leave imprints on your heart, without even realizing it? Ugh. Pathetic creatures, they are. (Most of them. I'm sure Mr. Pugh is dashing and thoughtful and lovely.) :) But thank you so much. Your words never fail to cheer me, dear blog-friend :)
oh how i delight in parcels...lovely indeed!
ReplyDeletehope you and your girls enjoyed your time spent together...my special friend and her sweet little girl are coming to visit today...and i can't wait!

Hi Erin -
ReplyDeleteI'm an Island girl now living on the prairies ... so it does my heart good to hear of your adventures and happenings there in Victoria. Sigh ...
We get 'home' every summer and Christmas and I always have my special places to visit ... The Blue Fox for breakfast ... Ferris' Oyster Bar and Grill for dinner ... Pure Vanilla Bakery for cake ... and Sam's Deli for sandwiches. Plus ... so many others ...
So your night out to 'Pags' sounds lovely!! Have fun!
hello friend,
ReplyDeleteif you want to pop over to my place, i have given you the happy 101 award. i do hope you'll share 10 things that make you happy with us!
cheers!
