I would be the most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. ~ Anna Quindlen
Remember the ornament swap I took part in, and how excited I was about the whole thing? Well, imagine my delight when I read about this~ a book swap! Basically you choose a book that is meaningful to you in some way (oh! how will I choose just one?), write a lovely inscription on the inside and send it off to a fellow blogger. And someone else does the same and sends a book to you. Books and mail... two of my very favourite things! In addition, for every one who participates in the swap, Kateigh will donate a book to her local, NY children's shelter. Brilliant. Want to take part? Go here for all the details.
PS: Thank you, Micaela my dear, for posting about this!
Thank you sooo much for reposting. This book swap means so much to me. And it means even more, the amount of response I got for this. I'm so excited!!

Oh I had seen lots of posts about this as I scanned all the many, many posts I need to catch up with. Sounds like a great swap idea. I am already doing another swap in January and had told myself I would only do one but I may now be swayed!
