I love this pumpkin that Dylan drew for the October calendar page. He was very excited to get to turn from September to a new month. "Mum!" he said. "Is Halloween on the first day of October?!" It was a bit sad to have to tell him it's actually not until the last day of October, but he took it pretty well. After all, there are lots of things to look forward to between now and then. Like trying on his Halloween costume every day to see if it still fits, for example!
