Kelly, Ed and the kids are back in town and they all came over last night for a big barbeque. We had a great time. I was so, so happy to see Kelly again, and we had such a lot of fun.
We took a lot of pictures, many of which turned out rather blurry. No, we weren't drinking!
We had a big dinner, which started out as a kids' picnic on the dining room floor and eventually moved out into the garden.
Sawyer was so thrilled he ran around the yard, buck naked and singing loudly. Now that's a sign that you really love your friends, when seeing them brings out that kind of unbridled excitement!
When they come back again at Christmas, we'll be sure to bundle him up nice & warm...E xo
PS: Notice how I am being all breezy and casual and not even mentioning how heartbroken I'll be all over again when they leave on Monday? Pretty good, huh?
But - lucky for you and me we are not super organized and we were able to get one more tea date - with some of my favorites - cookie dough mmmmm - blackberries and ice cream mmmmm - a lovely cup of tea and of course a wonderful visit, in your lovely garden!!! see you very soon and we can do it all over again!
