Green is good
In these "tough economic times" (ugh, I'm sick of hearing that) and wanting to reduce our "carbon footprint", we are very pleased to be able to grow a lot of our own herbs and vegetables (Alan deserves all the credit for this, though I can often be found outside with the hose, doing my part!) It saves a ton of money, and the veggies always taste sooo much better when they're freshly picked from the garden. Our herbs have really taken off, and the spinach is looking great already. This year's menu also includes tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, cucumbers, kale and peas, just to name a few. This summer's salads are going to be amazing.
