This is not the easiest of days to find three beautiful things. I am worrying about a friend who has had some bad news. My heart hurts and I wish I could do something. Maybe for now this is what needs doing? To find something good to be glad of, even though it feels so difficult? I guess that's the whole point of the 3BT. If it can help me turn my day around, then I can be of more good to my friend when she needs me. So, here goes:
1. I am planning to take the boys to the park after school. We'll go to Starbucks first for some tea and treats, then we'll play outside in the wind until our cheeks are red and rosy and our eyes are streaming. They'll love it.
2. I brought a Great Big Sea cd to school today and turned it on for the Grade 1s to dance to. Oh, the moves they came up with!
3. The weather forecast is improving. It's supposed to be sunny, and 16 degrees, on my birthday. What a nice present that would be.
That's the best I can do for now. I'll keep at it,
