The big trucks parade






The Island Equipment Operators Association (what a mouthful!) puts on a spectacular Christmas parade every year, lighting up all sorts of big trucks (cement mixers, gravel trucks, delivery vans, buses...) and taking them on a journey through town for everyone to admire. The boys LOVE it. Of all the Christmas-time parades, this one is our favourite. Dylan was especially excited about the parade this year, as we were going to Jason and Greta's to decorate gingerbread men before the big event. After a yummy supper, we were all off to Chapters Bookstore downtown to watch the twinkling trucks make their way down Douglas Street. We had so much fun! These photos are pretty blurry, as it was dark and rainy, and the trucks were passing by quickly, but you get the idea...
