Father's Day Fun

We all really enjoyed Father's Day this year. We started off Alan's special day with a fancy breakfast of homemade waffles with bacon, followed by presents ("Dad! Mum bought you a really big box of chocolates! I will help you unwrap it, Dad!") and then a trip to Heritage Acres with Grandpa joining us. It's an historical artifacts museum and ride-on railway! What dad and his little boy wouldn't love it? Alan and Dylan queued up for ages to ride the train, while my dad, Sawyer and I waited patiently for the photo opportunity. As the train whizzed by, we waved and tried hard to get a shot of the Pugh boys ridin' the rails! We also enjoyed the steam engine displays. Check out the rocking chair bench, fuelled with steam! Too cool. We finished the day with a BBQ at my parents' house. Everyone had fun and the sun shone on us (an increasingly rare event these days... locals have taken to calling this month "June-uary"...) so we were all v. happy. Here are the photos to prove it!
