Firetrucks on parade!

Last night was the annual Christmas Firetruck Parade in Langford. With our friends Jason and Greta, and their kids Brenna and Tor, we walked down the road to watch all the brilliantly lit-up trucks driving by (twice! they do a loop of the neighbourhood, so we watched it both going and coming back!) It was definitely a cold December night, so we decided to pop into Tim Horton's for a hot chocolate. It wasn't built this time last year, so it was quite a treat to have a warm place to sit in between the first and second drive-bys. Though he loved watching the firetrucks , Dylan found their sirens to be a bit too loud for his liking. Hence the photo of him watching the parade with Alan's hands over his ears! Sawyer, on the other hand, was mesmerized, and didn't seem to mind a bit!
