It's Friday now and I'm thinking back on the week. With the exception of a few really, really lousy nights' sleep, it's been great. Have had a chance to go out with friends and had a wonderful time at the baby shower my mom and Amanda put on for me on Sunday. Almost everyone was there and we had a lot of fun. The food was fantastic, too! Egg-salad sandwiches (mmmm), scones with butter, cream and homemade blackberry jam (oh boy, do I ever love scones!), amazing little pinwheel sandwiches, delicious cookies and (of course) oodles and oodles of tea. It was a really lovely, and yummy, afternoon out. Thanks again, Mom and Amanda!
What no pics of you, or your hostesses at the shower??? Would love to see one.
